Everything Wrong With You Is Beautiful (2018)

Poet Tina Sederholm knows she is an adult but has always felt like the problem child. As her father is consumed by Alzheimer’s, she tries to find out the facts behind a family story that never rang true. But as Tina digs deeper, she finds that memory is often unreliable and truth, more a matter of opinion. A bittersweet, funny, middle-aged rite of passage, Everything Wrong With You Is Beautiful fuses memoir, comedy and poetry into an elegy to reconciliation, even in heartbreaking circumstances.

‘A beautifully humbling and thoughtful storytelling experience dripping with hope, acceptance, and grounding self-mockery, Sederholm’s stunning set reduced myself and other audience members to the sensitive and teary-eyed children we’re all really hiding inside.’  Three Weeks *****
